Armour, protections & more
  • Qt diff guard front and rear
  • Rovertracks heavy duty drag link
  • Rovertracks heavy duty high clearance tie rod
  • Home brewed rocksliders
  • Rockware chassis sliders
  • North Off Road custom modular rollcage (work in progress)

  • The Qt diff guards are well thought out, not only they cover the pan but integrate a skid which runs all the way below the axle.

The steering got some beefed up Rovertracks parts,
these are guaranteed not to bend easily!
The drag link is made out of 1.25 x .1875 wall DOM tubing, with
    custom inserts to retain the Land Rover stock tie rod ends;
it also comes with jam nuts to lock up the tie rod end.
The HD tie rod is a full 1.25" in diameter, to withstand even the most rigorous abuse, and bent to be out of the way of rocks and boulders; nice!!!

I designed my own rocksliders, I wanted something light and compact.
Made of stainless steel, like the winch bumper, they will never rust, they don't stick out too much, and are topped up
    with some anti-slip diamond plate.
I did incorporate small brackets for the Jackall, which make possible to lift the truck without any adapter.

A set of chassis sliders, fabricated by Matt at Rockware
out of 3/16" steel, take care of the chassis rails from front radius arm to rear trailing link bracket, providing a smooth transition
at that well known hang up point.

Sean at NOR fabricated a custom rollcage with a welded front and a bolt-on rear section, should I ever want/need to put the SW roof back in place for a long trip.
I wasn't happy with the front hoop brackets supplied in the kit,
so I got a couple of Equipe rollcage brackets
which are much better designed; thanks Claudio!
